Philip Auerbach empowers companies and organizations to increase productivity, awareness and revenues.
Philip conducts his work through two primary enterprises: Auerbach International and The Auerbach Global-Impact Foundation (AGIF).
Auerbach International, started in January 1991, expands clients into countries and cultures, mainly by translating any kind of content – business, technical, government or nonprofit – from or into 80+ languages, with award-winning personal service and cultural adaptation. In addition, they highlight overseas markets to enter, strategies to get you there, and cultural gaffes to avoid. Clients range from Fortune 100s to SMEs, public sector agencies, and non-governmental organizations.
The Auerbach Global-Impact Foundation (AGIF), launched in December 2018, is a unique nonprofit for nonprofits, empowering them with a comprehensive toolkit of support services to build their capacity, succeed and thrive.
Philip is a successful entrepreneur and humanitarian who has studied eight languages and has traveled to over 55 countries, both to observe and absorb. He has lived in France, Japan, China and Southern Africa. Philip has a BA in Japanese Studies from Earlham College and a Master’s in International Marketing from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. He has run an interfaith Dialog Group for over ten years and has been on boards and committees of other organizations for many years.
Philip’s primary passions are to close gaps due to language and culture and to uplift humanity. He also enjoys hiking, especially in old-growth redwood forests; biking; dining with friends and family; theater; concerts (classical, especially Mozart); witty comedy shows; horse riding; beach walks; handcrafted art objects; collecting Bloopers – funny foreign mistranslations into English; and exploring cures for the world’s most pervasive and damaging disease, LCT (the Lack of Critical Thinking).
